Our accommodation is Visit Britain 4 star rated, part of the Walkers Welcome Scheme and in 2009 we received our first listing in the Good Hotel Guide. We have recently joined the Green Tourism Business Scheme and have been awarded a Silver grading.
Our guests come to Scarborough for many reasons – to shop, chill out, visit the theatre, explore the art galleries and museums, walk the Cleveland way, enjoy the sea air and play on the beach, explore the wider area of North Yorkshire and many more things. Our full English breakfast starts with a choice of cereal, fruit juices and fruit and then includes locally produced sausages and black pudding. Our vegetarian breakfast includes tofu and mushroom sausages, which we produce ourselves, and vegetarian 'black pudding'. As an alternative, guests can choose a Yorkshire smoked kipper with scrambled or poached eggs or some of our home made fruit bread, accompanied by locally produced jam and marmalade. We'll also arrange for your choice of newspaper to be on your table, so you can read it as you enjoy your breakfast.
If you don't want to leave the comfort of your room a continental breakfast can be served to you in your room on any day you wish.
The range of twin and double rooms all have en suite bathrooms with showers, hospitality trays, digital televisions/radios and hairdryers. Sea view rooms feature amazingly comfortable super king size beds and have beautiful views over the North Bay.
For a special occasion a selection of wine, champagne, chocolates or flowers can be ordered and will be in your room for your arrival. Any requests can be discussed on making your reservation.
