La Casa Verde is owned and run by a Kiwi/Aussie couple and is set on a small farming property in a scenic and tranquil setting, in one of the best areas in Baños

La Casa Verde means ‘the green house’. our aim is to live in as environmentally sustainable way as possible, provide a comfortable ‘green’ place for environmentally and socially conscious travellers to stay, relax and enjoy baños and help promote eco-tourism.
At La Casa Verde we are making every possible effort to be an ECO tourist operator. We are minimising impact, building environmental and cultural awareness and respect, working with and bringing income into the local community, conserving our land and spreading the word about ECO living. Being ECO is an ongoing process so La Casa Verde won’t ever be a finished project – we’ll keep looking for new and different ways to keep our environmental footprint to a minimum.
We are preparing for our eco certification to show we are not just labelling ourselves as ECO – we are doing our best to live, laugh and play this way too.
