Description

Quinta do Rio Douro is a genuine Organic farm: guests may pick their own oranges straight from the trees, grapes from the vine or try the vegetables from our garden.

The Quinta is set in a valley full of luxuriant sub-tropical vegetation and within the Sintra/Cascais Natural Park, half way between the historic center of Sintra, and the picturesque Estoril/Cascais, yet not far from Lisbon and the International Airport.

Walking distance to Azóia village (which offers top quality restaurants specializing in shellfish. fish and grilled food) and a short drive from Cabo da Roca, the most westerly point in mainland Europe.

Your hosts are Gabriela and Fernando Reino, who are now retired from the Portuguese diplomatic service. Guests are made to feel at home and may be welcomed in Portuguese, English, French or Spanish.
