Description

Recently renovated to international standards, we have 1, 2 and 3 bedroom apartments in 3 neighbouring houses, suitable for families, couples and groups of friends.

Restaurants, cafes, shops and public transport within walking distance.

Lots of activities on site: table tennis, table football, pool table, sauna, gym, DVDs/CDs/books to borrow.

Rent includes breakfast on first morning and supplies of tea, coffee, soap, toilet rolls etc. for your entire stay.

We recycle everything possible, solar panels for hot water, modern double glazing and loft insulation to conserve heat, water saving. Tap water from local springs. No smoking, no animals.

Bread rolls, spread, jam, muesli, fruit juice and milk for breakfast on the 1st morning of your stay (additional supplies of these plus yoghurts, ham and cheese, cereals, fresh fruit are available to buy). All products are organic where possible.
Essential supplies for the duration of your stay: coffee, English tea, sugar, cooking oil, olive oil and wine vinegar for salads, salt/pepper/herbs/spices, flour, ketchup, mayonnaise, mustard, stock cubes, washing up liquid, dishwasher tablets, aluminium foil and cling film, kitchen towel, rubbish bags, toilet rolls, Duchy liquid soap and shower gel. (Bathrobes, slippers and swimming/sauna towels are also available free of charge)
Use of WiFi or PC and printer
Free use of all facilities except: mountain bikes, sauna, washing machine and tumble dryer, for which a small charge is made. Also available to buy are: frozen ready home cooked meals, pizzas, ice creams, wines, beers and soft drinks, pasta and sauces, chocolate, toiletries and more.. Fresh, home made bread is available to order.

Free bus and train travel within the Bavarian Forest

For bookings of 3 nights or less, there is a €35 per apartment linen/cleaning charge.

Folding bed: €10 per bed per night (not possible in Haus Sterr Arber and Haus Martin Wald)

Loyalty discount for past guests: 10% off 2nd and subsequent bookings.

Half board option:

Self catered breakfast from our shop at cost or breakfast buffet at the cafe in Waldschmidtstrasse at €8 per person - must be booked in advance.
3 course dinner in top local restaurant €13 per person per day (excluding drinks). (Minimum 3 days).
