Description

Dantica Lodge is only 1.5 hour from San Jose over a very good road. Closest hotel to the newly created Los Quetzales National Park. Seven Standard bungalows and one Suite in our 20 hectare private primary upper montane cloud forest reserve, bordering the Los Quetzales National Park, with 5 km of trails. Trails starting just behind the bungalows.

All our bungalows have beds with goose-feather duvets, table with chairs, a sofa, mini-bar and coffeemaker, Satellite television, Jacuzzi, heating, hair dryer, safe deposit box, fire extinguisher, private terrace and a spectacular view of the forest or the valley and its cloud forest covered mountains. Quetzals and many other birds and animals can be seen from your terrace.

“Definitely the slickest place in San Gerardo, if not the whole southern sector.... modern furniture and stone and hardwood floors ...The kicker is the wall of windows, with an extraordinary vista over the cloud forest. A romantic breakfast is served on your private terrace.” Lonely Planet, 2007 Edition
