Description

Six acres of Tropical Fruits and Exotic Flowers in the El Yunque Rainforest. We offer a Villa and Casita. Dine on our homegrown Organic Fruits, Vegetables and Herbs.

The main villa at Casa Picaflores is a 3 bedroom house with 2 baths, a spacious fully equipped kitchen, living room, dining room and lovely back porch.  The master bedroom and one other bedroom each have individual A/C.  Guests have the use of a washing machine and dryer, wifi and may sign up for dinner in the Forest Bohio.  A complimentary breakfast is also served in the Bohio.

Casita Zumbador is a one-room cabana with private bath tucked away in a wooded setting on the Casa Picaflores property. Created with off-the-beaten-path travelers in mind, the individual or couple looking to enjoy El Yunque Rainforest and Puerto Rico's great beaches.  Coquis will sing you to sleep and you will awaken to birdsong, fresh fruit, sunshine and lush green foliage.

There is private bath and shower, ceiling fan and a compact refrigerator.  Casita Zumbador is Villa Picaflores in miniature; good taste, relaxation and quiet elegance in a rain forest setting.  We truly believe that our Casita Zumbador ("Little Hummingbird House") is one of the great undiscovered secrets for visitors to Puerto Rico.

 * A 7 person hot tub surrounded by Rainforest
 * Dining in the Tropical Forest Bohio
 * Complimentary Continental Breakfast
 * Hiking directly from your Villa rental
 * A Rainforest stream bordering the property
 * 24 hour staff on premise
 * Optional massage therapy services

Here at Casa Picaflores, we do our best to balance the experience  of a true rainforest getaway experience with most of the amenities you're accustomed to at home.  We offer comfort, tranquility and room to breathe.

In August of 2008 Casa Picaflores was purchased by Barbara Rogers, Master Herbalist and Natural Healer. Barbara is the founder and current owner of Simply Divine Botanicals.  She also opened Las Vegas' first raw food restaurant The Raw Truth.

Casa Picaflores will be transitioning to a Health Retreat within the next two years. At present we are a Villa rental with 24 hour staff, who can help you plan your daily adventures.
