Located at the heart of the South Atlas mountain range, the Roses Camp is a real escape into the Berber culture. Only two hours East of Ouarzazate, the Roses Camp is nestled in the gardens of Agoulzi, a tiny village 8km away from Kelaa M’Gouna.
Generously watered by the M’Goun river, inhabitants settled down in this area several generations ago, as old earth houses remind us. Some inhabitants still live in a nomadic and pastoral manner. One can meet numerous shepherds leading their goats and sheep in the surroundings. Nevertheless, this traditional way of living is endangered by modernity.
The Roses Camp is set in the heart of Taberkhachte village gardens and is surrounded by old earth Kasbahs. Its caïdal tents, traditionally used by ancient tribal leaders, have been adapted to modern needs. Run by local staff and a French supervisor, inhabitants will help you discover the richness of this region, the diversity of its nature and the hospitality of its people.
