The property slopes gently down to 500 meters of private oceanfront. Located 44 ° North and 64° West we are straight across the Atlantic Ocean from Bordeaux, France. Halifax, the nearest city with its international airport is about eighty minutes away. We are in the Atlantic time zone, four hours behind Greenwich time.

You may prefer the modern Blue or Yellow Cottages, or the bright and open Loft. Whether you want a family adventure or a private, solitary retreat, you will find the right place at Second Paradise. Each of our fully equipped and self-contained guest houses enjoys an unforgettable view over the bay, a few islands and the ocean.
Paddle a kayak and explore one of the many secluded beaches in the area or jump from our wharf and feel yourself slowly drifting away with the tides. You might prefer beach combing or a walk in the woods to look for mushrooms, take a bike tour along the Second Peninsula or just choose to relax in the hammock. Birdwatchers will enjoy the South Shore as a very attractive habitat for a wide variety of birds. The picturesque town of Lunenburg is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and offers visitors all amenities.
