Trericket Mill is on the northern edge of the Brecon Beacons National Park in Mid Wales, between the towns of Hay-on-Wye, Builth Wells and Brecon.
Trericket Mill has a unique historic atmosphere, complete with original milling machinery, log fires, books, games, a riverside garden within a designated SSSI.
The mill stream is called the Skithwen Brook and is a small tributary of the River Wye. Scramble up our Skithwen valley in search of the fairy glen with its hidden bathing pool, waterfalls and Victorian sulphur spring.
Wildlife abounds with kingfishers, dippers and otters in the stream and every autumn the migrating salmon can be seen jumping the Skithwen falls. The River Wye (and Wye Valley Walk) is about 200 metres away.
All the catering is vegetarian, from breakfast to simple suppers or evening meals, using wholefoods, organic, free-range and fairtrade produce wherever possible. Eggs are from our free-range ducks and hens during the laying season. Natural chemical free water is provided by our private source.
