Godshill Park Farm is almost centrally located in the Island, making it perfect for touring around the many towns, villages and places of interest. This is one of the most beautiful parts of the Island, designated an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
Our organic farm is home to our herd of Aberdeen Angus cattle, North Country mule sheep, rare pedigree Castlemilk Moorit sheep, dogs, ponies and horses. No pesticides, herbicides or artificial fertilizers are used.
Our ancient woodlands host red squirrels, badgers, foxes, little owls and buzzards and the ponds are home to dragonflies, swans, kingfishers, geese, ducks, moorhens and herons
The village of Godshill is renowned for its pretty thatched cottages, 14th Century church and tea gardens. High street shops, supermarkets and banks are located in the Island's 'capital', Newport which is a pleasant 6 miles away.
The sandy beaches of Shanklin and Ventnor are only a seven minute drive away.
The island abounds with things to see and do: cycle hire, horse riding, clay pigeon shooting, fishing and golf are all available locally. There are a variety of attractions for those with children – please ask for details.
Frequent services across the Solent makes travelling to the Isle of Wight so easy. You have a choice of several ferry operators for car or passenger only crossings.
Godshill Park Farm's rooms are beautifully appointed with en suite facilities, colour TV, telephone, video, fridge, web/email access points and countryside views. The oak-panelled lounge is an excellent retreat from the world and ideal for private business meetings.
Breakfast: Local and organic produce used includes free range IOW bacon and sausages produced on a neighbouring farm, free range eggs, organic milk and butter and homemade preserves using our own fruit. Locally pressed apple juice is served together with a selection of other pure fruit juices.
Lunch and Dinner can be taken at our restaurant in the village, The Essex.

Lake View – Godshill: Sleeps 6. This newly furbished wing of the house will provide spacious accommodation all on one level. Accommodating 6 people in 2 bedrooms (which can be configured as twin or double) and on the comfortable sofa bed in the lounge area.
Pheasant Cottage – Godshill: Sleeps 4 in 2 bedrooms. Delightful detached cottage. The cottage looks out across the orchard to the nearby millpond, which has an abundance of waterfowl, beyond are the downs.
Godshill Park Cottage: Sleeps 4 in 2 bedrooms + 1 single bed downstairs. This detached 2 bedroom cottage is a secluded, luxury retreat situated on an organic working farm a quarter of a mile from the public road.
PLEASE NOTE: guests staying in our s/c cottages can take breakfast in the Great Hall of the farmhouse by arrangement if wished. Our restaurant, The Essex, in the village, serving the freshest of fish and organic produce, is available for lunch and dinner.
