The Hermitage Manorwas built from locally quarried stone around 1830 and subsequent families have enjoyed the stunning views over beautiful Herefordshire countryside and a healthy lifestyle in the 12 acres of organic garden, copse and trails. Approached via a half-mile drive, the property is surrounded by 350 acres of woodland with marked footpaths; it is home to buzzards, deer, badgers and other wildlife in their natural environment. Current owners Ritsuko and Ron have carefully renovated the Old Coach House and Stables to form two lovely, three bedroom, self-catering holiday cottages, ideal for families or friends, country-breaks or longer holidays. There are also three spacious one-bedroom holiday Apartments adjoining the main Manor house, which have been comfortably and tastefully refurbished and are ideal for couples. Helping you to settle in for your stay you'll find fresh flowers from our garden, lovely spring drinking water on tap, a chilled bottle of Fair Trade wine, organic fresh coffee and a variety of teas. You are welcome to pick fresh herbs from the organic garden when you feel the urge to cook and you'll find some vegetarian-friendly cook books in your kitchen too. It's a great way to have a truly organic holiday.
