La Cerqua, a recently restored XIV century farmhouse, is situated in a 500 acre, organic teaching farm, in the Pietralunga Forest, a lovely natural area of the Carpina Valley, Upper Umbria. Guest accommodation comprises a total of 20 beds in 6 rooms and in 2 suites, each named after a different local tree. All the rooms have private bathroom, central heating (some with open fireplace), and a panoramic view. Downstairs there is a farm-restaurant and a clubhouse with: TV and music saloons, and a reading saloon with a small library.
La Balucca is an old typical Umbrian farmhouse situated 500 m. from La Cerqua,, with a panoramic view of the Carpina Valley. Guest accommodation comprises a total of 9 rooms, each named after a local shrub. All the rooms have private bathroom, central heating, latex mattresses and energy-saving lamps. The clubhouse is well equipped. Downstairs the farm-restaurant and the farm-shop offer organic products prepared in our kitchens: jams, liqueurs and precious truffles. With its riding-ground, its small football field and 2 experimental areas, the Animals' Garden and the Wizard’s Garden, it is the ideal place for an active holiday.
The Old Barn is a typical red-brick house. It contains two small but very comfortable apartments, surrounded by a little garden, under the shade of an old maple tree. The ideal place for a self-run holiday.
The organic restaurant, the club-house (with a reading-room a music-room and a bio-bar with veranda), the acorn-shaped swimming pool and the riding-ground are all part of the unforgettable nature holidays we offer.
