Fern Paradise Resort, Chiang Mai is an environmentally-responsible lodging in Northern Thailand that follows the practices of green living.
We have incorporated important environmental elements into our resort's structure in order to minimize its impact on the environment. by combining the architectural styles of the famous “Old Thai Traditional Villa” with the so-called “Rice Barn”, both of which have evolved to serve the local people's lifestyle.
The buildings are set in a forest of more than 200 species of Fern Tree. These trees have the virtues of reducing the heat of sun, providing fresh air and diverting cold breezes during the winter: a kind of natural air-conditioning!
From our Guest Book: "I had a two night stay here and wished I could stay longer! The rooms are large and very clean, the staff are very friendly and helpful and the hotel has all the facilities one would expect at a 5 star hotel. The business centre has internet and it is free. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay here."
"Fern Paradise is not in the centre of Chiang Mai, it is a 20-minute journey by taxi or bus to the centre. However not only does this mean that you are assured of peace at night, it would not be possible to have such large gardens and all the space in the city centre. It is a beautiful place to relax and recover from the heat of the day. We really enjoyed our stay with Dr Tantayanusorn and his family and would love to return some day."
